Aruba Photos : Land Rover Tour

We toured the island of Aruba with about 30 other people, driving offroad in Land Rovers. We stopped at various scenic attractions including the lighthouse, the natural bridges, the caves with the prehistoric paintings on the walls, the old gold mine ruins, etc. For a full-day trip, we had a really good time.

It was a blast driving those Land Rovers, especially off-road. :-)

The island of Aruba is a desert island, so you won't see a lot of green.

As we were driving along in the Land Rover, we spotted some goats standing around.
p5300154

Here we were forced to stop because one of the Land Rovers had a flat tire.

So we stood around and snapped off a few shots.

And some stacked their stones and made a wish.

Here's the whole gang in our Land Rover.

Seak Trek: We put breathing helmets on our heads and climbed down 25 feet to the ocean floor. We walked around for about 40 minutes, viewing marine life and a sunken airplane, and posing for various photos. Quite an interesting experience!
